Over 10 years on St. John — Cimmaron St. John — our beginnings and today

Cimmaron St. John is a leader in St. John villa management companies based primarily upon our unique and comprehensive expertise gained as a General Contractor providing high quality general construction and building services throughout St. John. Over a ten year period, Cimmaron Builders, Inc. achieved a stellar reputation for impeccable service and expert home renovations.

David Conro and Robin Eldridge Conro were the principles of Cimmaron Builders, Inc. and are the founders and owners of Cimmaron Property Management, Inc. d/b/a Cimmaron St. John.

While engaged in the building construction business in the early to mid 2000’s, Dave and Robin observed thatmany of the vacation rental properties that they were providing general contracting services for werein continuous and varing stages of disrepair. It became apparent that the underlying cause of this was due to a general lack of routine and preventative maintenanceby the various property managers/booking agents who were representingproperties on St. John. It did not take long to realize that there wassignificant need for a quality, professionalproperty management and maintenance service on St. John. In response to this need to assist homeowners in preserving their valuable assets and to enable those villas in the short-term rental market to compete in this expandingmarket, Dave and Robin formed Cimmaron Property Management in early 2004. The original goal was to provide professional propertymanagement, maintenance andfinancialservices to property owners on St. John working toinsure that properties under our management were the best maintained on St. John and that visitors staying in our managed villas would look forward to their return visit. We have succeeded far beyond our original expectations!

David Conro

Dave’s years of hands-on experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing work is enhanced with his prior background in engineering, corporate management and business development. In August of 2010, Dave obtained his Virgin Islands Real Estate Salesman License. Dave is a member of the St. John Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors and is associated with Holiday Homes of St. John which has been a major player for the high profile St. John real estate market since 1960. Robin Eldridge Conro

Robin has been working in the vacation rental business on St. John since 2001 and is very familiar with the distinctive needs of guests tothis beautiful island and of St. John homeowners. With skills learned from her longtime career as a Legal Administrator, Robin works with the Cimmaron staff in the development and implementation of the systems required for providing premier service to our guests and property owners.

Our Full Time Staff

Cimmaron employs a full-time officeand maintenance staff with a variety of skills to guarantee that all guest requests and property maintenance projects, whether large or small, will be attended to in a timely, professional, and friendlymanner. All of our staff are full time residents of St. John who enjoy sharing their local knowledge and welcoming visitors to our island. Our office is located in the LumberYard Complex in the heart of Cruz Bay and we welcome you to stop in to meet the Cimmaron team!
