The bad news is that home town favorite Peter Holmberg placed second. The good news is that everyone associated with the world match racing raved about how wonderful a setting St. Thomas is for this kind of sailboat racing. Raved. The ripples of this weekends sailboat racing will be felt for years. We are getting on the map as the ideal place for sailboat racing. That’s good news for our economic growth. Oh, Chris Law of GB won the match races but the real victor was the US Virgin Islands

It doesn’t matter that the Senate approved the health insurance contract. CIGNA insurance company says they are not going to offer health insurance to government employees, that’s the bad news. The good news is that the other insurance plan, AON Consulting/St. Croix Insurance is still available and costs less, so this may turn out for the best in the long run. Water Island Report

See above. Real News! We checked the files. There was No News all year. This celebration of the anniversary of the Water Island transfer is the first real event since the transfer. Shoot, there goes a perfect “No News” record. The raising of the banner made quite a stir this morning on the ferry dock in Phillips Landing. The two spare flag poles have been useless since transfer day. Now they are holding a banner. See photo.

It’s your Good News! You tell us and we’ll tell everyone.
