Easter Messages Come in

Easter is a time of peace and renewal. Senator Petrus extends his greeting to the Virgin Islands community with a message of peace and love in the Easter Season. Delegate Christian-Green notes that Christians, Moslems and Jews all have holy days in this season. She says “We are all Gods Children – entitled to a life of dignity, spiritual growth, intellectual growth, and fulfilment in the pursuit of happiness. Senator Vargrave Richards says we emerge from the Lenten period of sacrifice and denial then celebrate the resurrection of Christ. He says “Set aside time to thank the Almighty for all our blessings. In this time of renewal, take a moment to think of the people whose homes were destroyed this week by tornadoes. The red Cross has already got volunteers on the scene in Alabama and Southeastern Georgia to help 1000 families who lost their homes and 3000 who sustained damage. We’ve been on the receiving end of disaster aid. Count your blessings today
