Recycle Packaging this Christmas
You will probably receive packages this Christmas with lots of bubble wrap and plastic peanuts. Now Linda Lohr writing in the Daily News is teaching us all about recycling our packing material. Plastic peanuts and bubble wrap do not decompose in the landfill. On St. Thomas you can take packing materials to Caribbean Packaging by the airport Texaco, Nisky Mail Services and Red Hook Mail Services. On St. John Island Made, Pink Papaya and Taste of Paradise and the Don Schnell Pottery Studio will recycle you plastic peanuts and bubble wrap. Don’t throw it in the dumpster. Recycle.
