We are watching Hurricane Erika
The Government announced that all departments should prepare for any eventualities that might arise from Hurricane Erika. While the storm is passing north of us, the Governor wants us to prepare for a storm. People with boats should move to safe harbors. Remove anything from your yard that could blow away in a high wind and make sure your storm supplies are ready to go. Food, batteries, check your generator and make ice. If you live in a building that is not storm safe, you are adviced to make plans not to move to safer shelter. 09/05/97 7:41 AM
