Dept. of Agriculture says that this is Bee swarming season and with mangos ripening, children and bees are drawn to the same fruit. St. Croix has confirmed swarms of Africanized killer bees. If you are confronted by an attack, seek shelter fast; in a house, a car, a ditch. Cover your head and neck and run. Call the fire service, they have gear and chemicals to deal with bee swarms.
