[singlepic id=4817 w=180 h=40 mode=web20 float=left]Good morning! This is Alex Randall with Good News Headlines

The Senate voted to transfer 13.5 million into the Windstorm Authority.

This means that most windstorm authority claims can be paid or at least settled, and quickly too.

They were using the house at 50-A King Street in St. Croix to sell drugs,

at least until last Wednesday when the Police and Public Works bulldozed the house and kicked out the drug pushers. The Daily News reports that stores in the area had all been robbed over and over, and the drug pushers were street beggars too. Now it is quiet, the pushers are gone, and thats good news.

We call it good news; sometimes it’s downright excellent news.

The Inspection lanes are going to improve. The Motor Vehicle Registry is now fully computerized. That should make the wait for registration change from a two day nightmare to a 15 minute process. Out with the typewriters, in with the computers. The morning rush and end of month rush may clog the system but for most of us, the long wait is over.

Petrait attributes his award to his continuing education, that means he never stopped going to school. Thats good news.
