April 5, 1999 — Studio City, California — Sinbad expands the line up for Kmart presents Sinbad’s Soul Music Festival Part 5 with the addition of the SOS Band, to appear during the Festival, to be held May 26-31 in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. To date, the line up also includes Roy Ayers,DeBarge featuring El DeBarge, and Chaka Khan. More bands are to be announced in the near future.
Later this morning, at 9am Pacific Daylight Time (12 Noon Eastern), Sinbad will participate in the second weekly chat session to be held in the newly created Soul Music Festival Auditorium, accessible by clicking on the Chat button at the Soul Music Festival Web Site.
“There are so many questions and so many rumors out there, that I want my people to have a chance to ask me directly,” Sinbad said. “I want them to be able to get their questions answered straight from the source.”
Regular chat sessions with Sinbad are tentatively scheduled to take place each Monday morning at 9am Pacific Time, however, the schedule may change subject to audience preferences, and Sinbad’s schedule. Always be sure to check the ShoutOut Board at the Web site to keep up on breaking news.
